The time is finally here as College Basketball starts this week! Last year #4 seeded UConn and Adama Sagono caught fire in March and ran through the tournament for its fifth Men’s Basketball Championship. Will Connecticut make the first repeat run since Florida in 2006/2007? This year looks absolutely wide open as Kansas, Duke, and Purdue start the season as the favorites as they all sit around 12-1 to win the championship. What will it look like with no Jim Boehiem, Mike Brey or Bob Huggins on the sidelines? How will Rick Pitino do back in the Big East? There are a lot of unknowns to start this season! The board is already full and I couldn’t be more excited to start firing away!

NCAA Basketball Betting Primer
4 Sports Betting Tips for College Basketball
1. Full Board
While there are 130 FBS college football teams, there are 351 Division 1 college basketball teams. This translates into an average of over 175 games on any given week. On a busy weekend, there could be in upwards of 100 games on the board. There are a plethora of opportunities for edges to be found and value to be had. My team scours the board each and every day to find those games and then offer them to our subscribers. You know by now that being a plus gambler requires dedication and discipline over the long haul and no haul is longer, than the college basketball grind. While you are at your day job, the KrackWins team will be grinding each day to find the value for you.
2. Remember the key numbers
In football everybody knows that 3 and 7 are the key numbers but many people do not know what the key numbers are for basketball. In NCAA Hoops, we look for our key numbers of 2,3 and 5. These are the only numbers that are worth buying to or paying extra juice for.
3. Key on totals
We bet sides, props and totals throughout the season but really key on these totals early in the season. While college football offers at most a 20 point variance, most college basketball totals are going to be in the 120 to 150 range. Teams that shoot a lot of 3’s or play a running style are impacted greatly by a specific type of defensives played by their opponent, making matchups key in setting and betting a number. Tons of value can be had in betting totals, especially in the early season.
4. Bankroll Managment
With so many games on the board everyday, bankroll management is king with college basketball. Games will usually start at as early as 7:00 pm ET on weeknights and Noon on weekends and run through 11:00 pm starts for West Coast games. This presents plenty of opportunities to chase earlier losses. Do not fall into that trap. Keep your bets the same based on bankroll percentage throughout the season or you will be on tilt before conference play begins.
Overall, college basketball is really a professional game when it comes to betting and winning. Me and my team has been winning in this game for 30+ years Don’t go at this marathon grind alone. Let KrackWins do the heavy lifting from tip off through cutting down the nets and One Shining Moment.
