Our special guest today is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced sports betting minds in the industry. Vic Salerno is in the sports betting Hall of Fame and he’s the President of USBookmaking, a company that provides betting technology for sportsbooks.
Salerno has been in the sports betting business for over 40 years. He served as Chairman of American Wagering, Inc. which operated over 130 Leroy’s sportsbooks. During his tenure, he led the launch of the Leroy’s mobile sports betting app until the company was sold to William Hill in 2012.
Before modern technology, sportsbooks took bets manually, and relied heavily on the expertise and trustworthiness of cashiers. A big part of what Vic is famous for is advancing the technology that streamlined the process for sportsbooks and led to a much safer and more honest service for customers.

It’s no secret Jon loves the UFC. Recently, he was at an event when Jared Leto’s outfit sparked instant meme madness. What wasn’t mentioned in those stories is that Leto has been attending tons of UFC fights as of late. Jon’s seen him at least three times in a little more than a month.Â
In this week’s episode, Jon makes a bold prediction – Jared Leto is preparing to play an MMA fighter in an upcoming film. Leto has actually been at almost every single UFC event for the past year and it’s widely known he immerses himself into the characters he depicts on screen.Â
Another recent betting-celebrity crossover was Drake’s high-stakes viral roulette video. Drake posted a clip of himself playing online live dealer roulette and betting what looked to be $200,000. It was also reported that Drake had a massive bet betting on Odell Beckham Jr. to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl. Drake put down half a million dollars on OBJ and pocketed $575,000 in profit when the bet won. It appears Drake has been bitten by the gambling bug and we’re excited to see what kind of action he’s into next.
