What can be a bigger betting event than the Super Bowl? This week in my sports betting podcast, I will explain how the NCAA basketball tournament is an even more impressive betting event than the Super Bowl.Â
For example, I typically bet on a lot of underdogs in the first half. These are teams that have never been to the tournament before. They come out hot with their endorphins spilling over and are looking to compete.

Drake Rips Quarter-Milly on MasvidalÂ
Barely a week after making headlines betting six figures per spin on roulette, Drake bet $250,000 on Jorge Masvidal to beat Colby Covington in the main event of UFC 272.
Jorge was a +250 underdog and Colby won all five rounds decisively.
I believe Drake has been sucked into betting, but he likely has more than the necessary bankroll to support the losses.
NFL Off-Season Update
Aaron Rodgers announced he was coming back to Green Bay and may now have his biggest contract ever.
And if you happened to miss it, Russell Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos a few hours later.Â
To top it all off, Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley has been suspended for a year for gambling on the NFL. Allegedly, he gambled while he was on IR. He claims he didn’t bet against the Falcons and only bet $1,500.Â
Last but not least, we interview Jake Thieneman. In a short time, Thieneman moved from a walk-on to a team captain. Later, he had time with the Giants, Colts, and 49ers. In his short time in the NFL, Jake was able to go to the Super Bowl with the 49ers.
