It’s one of the most overused clichés as the clock ticks down towards the end of the year: ”the year sure flew by”. I think as we get older, the speed of time and the passing of the year feels accelerated. That said, 2019 certainly was one of the most insane years I can remember. It feels like yesterday when I was sitting in Atlantic City watching the Super Bowl while being filmed for the Action documentary on Showtime, and yet, in reality, the NFL playoffs are right around the corner.
Most importantly, 2019 marked the introduction of the KrackWins app. As the year comes to a close, there are so many people I want to thank – most of all our faithful user base, otherwise known as KW Nation.
The next few weeks will bring time with the family, college bowl season, and the NFL playoffs. While we will miss those weekends of pigskin, remember that after the Super Bowl champion is crowned is when the KrackWins difference really kicks in.
No other site can delivery NBA, NHL, and college basketball winners every week. The PGA Tour starts in Hawaii and runs through its West Coast swing. Next thing you know, the weather starts to warm and we head into baseball season and building another year of profit.
After a horrific start to the week, the likes of which I have rarely seen, we rebounded nicely to end the week on a 15-8 run, so we could at least sniff .500 for the week. We had a few exquisite bad beats, including the NY Knicks over (total at 204 with 5:30 left, landing short at 207 against our 208 play) and Eastern Kentucky covering steadily until the very end.
NBA had its first losing week of the year, going 3-4 (-2.1 units). NCAAB sides went 6-8 and totals went 1-1 (-5.8 units). I’m cracking the whip on my team to get these numbers up. Remember, CBB is a grind, so stay with it and stay disciplined as we head into conference play after the holiday season. NHL remained strong, going 2-1 (+1.13 units). Our NFL Teaser went 1-0 (+1.75 units) and the NFL props went 2-3 (-.98 units). Overall record for the week was 15-17 (-6 units).
We’ve already released a few bowl plays and have more to come. Stay tuned as we will have an annual recap coming…
