The holiday season means a lot of things to a lot of people. To some it means time with family. To some it signals the end of another year on the calendar. To the crew here at KrackWins, it means it is officially BOWL SEASON. College Football plays this year have been a grind, but a fruitful one, riding the success of a 64% FCS record to a season in the black. With the college football playoff system expanding to 12 teams next year, this may be one of the final opportunities to bet a full slate of obscure bowl games.
Call me nostalgic, but betting on the Weed-Wacker Bowl, the Beef O’ Brady Bowl and the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl really bring a tear to my eye. Most of these games mean nothing other than to the two respective fan bases…but in the world of sports betting, they are especially meaningful. Nothing offers wilder finished, more bad beats and more miraculous covers than NCAAF bowl season.
Last year, KrackWins members went 9-2 in Bowl games, contributing to a 64% win rate over the course of the app’s 4 year existence. Let’s discuss a few insider tips on how we have gained our edge.
College Football Bowl Sports Betting Tips
Traditionally, we get down on bowl games as early as possible in order to find the best possible advantage. That said, with coaching changes and opt outs, we have held off on making plays a bit longer in order to be certain of the team makeup. This makes our inside information more important than ever. KrackWins’ information network and handicapping analysis is the best in the industry.
1) Motivation is something is regularly overvalued in the regular season, but not in the bowls. Look to bet against teams that may be disappointed that they did not make a bigger game (see Alabama, USC). While this can of course be baked into the line, you can gain an advantage by feeling out information accessible online and in social media.
2) Bowl season has certainly changed over the last few years as more and more players are opting out of the games to protect themselves in advance of the NFL Draft. Similarly, many are dealing with coaching turnover during the bowl season.
3) As always, you must be consistent with your bankroll. There are 41 bowl game beginning on December 16th and continuing through the Championship Game in January. Stay within 1-3% on each play and as you build your bankroll, your unit size will continue to rise. Be sure and remove emotion as possible and remember this is a long term marathon. Don’t let the result in the Cheez-It Bowl impact how you play the LendingTree Bowl the next day. There is always another game!
