Every year after the NCAA Basketball Champion cuts down the nets, I head to the Southern US. After seeing some family in Florida, I was lucky enough to go The Masters and The RBC Heritage Open in Hilton Head, South Carolina. In addition to the beautiful settings and great golf, the one thing that stood out to me more than anything was that “Southern Hospitality” is alive and well. Everything seems to move at a slower pace in that part of the country and I notice some of the manners – saying hello, opening a door for a stranger, etc. – that at times seem to have gone extinct in many other parts of the country. As the legal sports betting world continues to expand, I look forward to the day when places like South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida open up their casinos with sportsbooks.
To that end, let’s talk for a moment about that new wave of sports bettors which become part of KrackWins Nation. Many of them join our beginner level package – a good option for those beginners to sports betting looking to learn how to become a successful bettor, which gets them primed to upgrade to getting more and more plays. Unfortunately, you can often tell what members are not made for this game. You wouldn’t believe how many new subscribers complain after starting their membership 0-2. As I will tell them personally, these people will simply never make it as an advantage sports bettor. Taking emotion out of the equation, exhibiting patience, and being able to accept a losing run are skill that one needs to be a successful long term sports bettor. We will not win every day, every week, or even every month. However check the tape and you will see that we have only had 7 months in the red in the 4 years since we started KrackWins. Personally, I have never had a losing year in my 30 years of advantage sports betting.
Sports Betting Picks Recap
The last two weeks were a rollercoaster ride for KrackWins, as we were betting MLB, PGA, XFL, NASCAR, and NBA. Overall for the two weeks, KrackWins finished 21-19-1, dropping 1.5 units.
As you have heard me say many times, MLB is the longest grind of any sport. We started the season 3-8 before running off 6 winners in our next 7. The last two weeks saw MLB go 8-5 (+2.4 units) and we will continue to add volume as the teams get into their groove.
The NBA playoffs have begun and as it seems to happen every year, the injuries came out in waves. Giannis Antetokounmpo went down with a back injury early in Game 1 of his series and Ja Morant seemed to really hurt his wrist in Game 1 of the Grizzlies series vs. the Lakers. While those two are likely to return to action, Miami’s Tyler Herro broke his right hand during Game 1 and may be done for the playoffs. Even with some bad beats during a few blowouts, we still finished the last two weeks in the NBA ahead, going 9-8-1 (+.2 units).
The PGA Tour saw World Number 1 in Jon Rahm get his green jacket at Augusta while Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick took the RBC Heritage in a playoff vs Jordan Spieth. Our golf matchups went 3-4 and our two futures did not cash (-2.6 units). NASCAR finished 1-1 (-.3 units) and we lost our sole XFL play on a two point conversion miss (0-1 -1.2 units.)

This year’s Draft starts April 27and the plays will come out in the days beforehand so be ready! The weather is heating up…its playoff season in the NBA and NHL and, as always, the grind continues…
