Whether it’s the weather getting colder, the nights getting longer or the NFL Playoff seeding coming into shape, December always feels different. As the clock ticks down towards the end of the year, it seems like everyone says to themselves, ”That year sure flew by.” The older we get the faster time seems to pass. It truly does stop for no one.
The next few weeks will bring time with the family, college bowl season, and what’s sure to be a wild end to the NFL regular season. Bowl season not only brings some of the wildest games of the year, it also brings lots of advantage plays to be found as books face matchups they have little to no historical support on which to base their lines. A number of bowl games have already been sent to our members and many more will follow. 42 games stretching over three weeks requires discipline and selectivity. There is no greater pull than wanting to make a play on the Hawaii Bowl when it’s the only game available on Christmas Night. Remember, just because a game is on…doesn’t mean it needs to be bet.
Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap
The last week brought us another winning NFL week and our first rough NCAAB run of the year. NFL finished up its 3rd quarter going 8-5 (+4.1 units.) I cannot remember a year with so much parity heading into January. There are literally 6+ teams with legitimate Super Bowl aspirations. NCAAB went 2-5 (-6.8 units) during what really is an odd time of the year for college hoopsters. The traditional holiday tournaments have passed and in-conference play has yet to begin, making the December matchups a little wacky. Always remember, more than most sports, NCAAB is a long grind so stay with it and stay disciplined as we head into conference play. NBA had a winning week, going 4-3 (+.3 units) as the Lakers get to hang yet another banner. (Just hoping Kobe isn’t looking down from above shaking his head on that one.) Overall for the week, KrackWins went 14-13 (-2.4 units.)
With only 2 more weeks in 2023, let’s cap things off with our traditional dominance of Bowl Season and a strong close to the NFL’s final quarter. Stay warm – both in front of the fire and on your holiday picks.
