From the Sweet Sixteen to the Elite Eight and now down to the Final Four, this past weekend saw packed sports books and record betting handles in states all over the country. As you know, nothing matches the volume of the NCAA Tournament.
Unfortunately, the Elite Eight games didn’t provide the down to the wire tension we are used to
- After becoming the first 15 seed to make the Elite Eight, St. Peter’s ran out of gas against North Carolina in a game that was over by the middle of the first half.
- Kansas was down by six at the half and blew the doors off Miami in the second half, winning by 26.
- Duke kept Arkansas at arm’s length the entire game.
That said, it was all worth it as the Final Four teams, Duke, UNC, Villanova and Kansas, head to New Orleans for a Blueblood Basketball dream. With 17 National Championships spread between the Final Four participants, this Final Four is simply college basketball royalty.
So many incredible storylines for sports betting
- Coach K’s last ride
- The game’s best rivalry, Duke and UNC, meeting for the first time in the tournament
- Villanova trying to win its third title in the past six years
Remember… as the field shrinks, so do the advantages
Lines are tighter as the bookmaker has more information and only a few games to focus on. Tons of money is bet and lost on the Final Four by the public bettor. They can feel the end of the season is near… Maybe, they are trying to chase their losses earlier in the Dance… Two games on Saturday night… As I have always said, just like Sunday and Monday Night Football crushes bettors every week… just because a game is in the primetime spotlight, does not mean you need to bet it.

While we will shed a brief tear during “One Shining Moment,” as we say goodbye to College Basketball for the season, it will be quickly wiped away as we have a ton of sports betting action moving forward here at KrackWins.
I couldn’t be more excited for the start of the MLB season, where a 162 season is on tap with fans in the stands. Be on the lookout for upcoming MLB Futures Bets as we hope to find another Shohei Ohtani MVP 30-1 winner out there.
My favorite golf event, The Masters, is just a week away followed immediately by the expanded NBA playoffs.
The grind doesn’t stop. The KrackWins team is committed to building your bankroll through the Spring and Summer months.
