The NCAA Basketball Tournament rarely disappoints and this year has been no different. Fairleigh Dickerson became just the second #16 seed to ever knock off a #1 seed when they took out Purdue in the first round. #15 seed Princeton shocked #2 seed Arizona and then proceeded to take care of Missouri on their way to the Sweet 16! Returning champ and #1 seed Kansas fell to #8 seed Arkansas, leaving Houston and Alabama as the only 1 seeds left.
Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap
Our traditional first weekend success on the Dance eluded us this year, as we went 14-15-1 (-5.2 units) on the Men’s tourney. We lost both our Women’s games. (0-2, -2.2u). Undeterred (as always), we have already sent out a few plays to our members for the Sweet Sixteen with more still to come.
The NBA season has absolutely flown by and the playoffs are just a few weeks away. It’s been a profitable year in the NBA, due in large part to success in the player prop market and we will certainly be firing away on these bets thorough the lengthy playoff march. Last week we went 3-1 (+1.8 units) in the NBA. We also stayed undefeated in the XFL winning our only game with ease (1-0 +1u).
Overall we finished 18-18-1 and dropped 4.4 units in juice.
Win, lose or draw there is nothing like the Big Dance. This next round presents some big name matchups like UCLA vs. Gonzaga as well as some Cinderella’s trying to keep the dream alive, like Princeton and Florida Atlantic. As always, remember to bet with your head, not over it. Having fun is part of it of course, but your primary goal should be to make money. You do not need to bet a game just because it’s on TV, especially during this time of year because guess what…they ALL ARE. Enjoy the games as we rocket towards the Final Four the start of the Spring and Summer season with Golf, Baseball, NBA Playoffs and more!
