With all the possible sports betting picks available, there are few sporting events more enjoyable to watch than the PGA Tournament. What’s not to like? You’re outside at a stunning location, walking on pristine grounds, enjoying the fresh air, all the while the best golfers in the world are doing their thing a few feet away.
This past weekend, I revisited one of my favorite spots, Hilton Head, South Carolina, for the RBC Heritage Open. Even though it was only one week after the Masters, the field was stacked. Jordan Spieth, Patrick Cantlay, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, and Shane Lowry all teed it up and played well. Spieth took care of Cantlay in a playoff giving him his first win since last Easter. Amazingly, Spieth can go for 3 Easter wins in a row next year at Augusta.
NBA Playoffs
The NBA wrapped up the play-in tournament and the 8 series matchups started this weekend. Other than the T’Wolves upsetting the Grizzles, the home team won each Game 1 by a comfortable margin. The exception, of course, being Jason Tatum’s buzzer beater pushing the Celtics to a 1-0 series lead against the Brooklyn Nets. Click here for my NBA Playoff Primer.
MLB’s Opening Week
- Baseball’s first week provided us with some good water cooler talk when future Hall of Famer, Clayton Kershaw, was pulled by future third base coach, Dave Roberts, after pitching 7 perfect innings on just 80 pitches.
- The talking heads exploded with the “leave him in” vs. “keep him healthy” arguments.
- We suffered our first bullpen brutal bad beat of the year as the +140 NY Mets blew a 4-0 lead in the 8th inning, falling to the Phillies 5-4.
- Baseball is the ultimate grind so don’t hold onto the bad beats longer than it takes for the winning team to finish the high five line. These will go both ways for us over the 162.

NFL Draft
The anticipation for the NFL Draft has been heating up and we’ve already released two draft props to our members. This is what I like to call “moving week.” Teams are fully exploring their options with trades and prospects.
Remember, there are now hundreds of “analysts” out there with more mock drafts that you can count. Always take the Mel Kipers of the world with a grain of salt.
While TV and Social Media personalities are just creating content, KrackWins’ team is putting down big money on our inside information.
Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap
It was another good week for Krackwins members with a nice mix of NBA, PGA, and MLB. (Note: We passed on NASCAR this week, where a dirt track increases the randomness of result.)
- NBA totals went 2-1 (+1.3 units) and our player props went 4-2 (+1.6 units).
- MLB went 5-7 (-2.7 units) with a few bullpen beats.
- PGA matchups swept the board at 2-0 (+3 units), and have now won on 8 of their last 10.
- Overall for the week we finished at 13-10 (+3.2 units.)
Team Krackwins continues to hit advantage plays in MLB, PGA, NASCAR and the NBA playoffs and will be firing off more NFL Draft props as it approaches. As always, let us do the heaving lifting for you this summer and keep working to build that roll!
