After the glow of a successful NFL Draft had passed, it was back to the normal grind in the sports betting world for KrackWins. As you know, we are firing away daily on NBA Playoff player props and game totals, PGA and NASCAR Matchups, Major League Baseball, and the NHL Playoffs and starting this week – one of my favorite sports to bet – the WNBA. I am often asked why I don’t concentrate on one sport. The answer is simple: why would I ever limit our +EV betting opportunities?! While the general public sees May as a slow time for sports, professional sports bettors know the Spring is ripe with opportunities to grind out profits in as many as six different sports.
Inclement weather on the East Coast caused a lot of postponements in MLB last week, leading to pitching changes and early day doubleheaders. These delays are generally not the friend of the bettor. We finished 3-4 (-1.4 units) on the week and as the teams start to define themselves a bit more clearly, we expect to increase the volume as we move towards summer.
10 – 5 in the NBA Playoffs
The NBA Playoffs have continued to be good for the bankroll and last week was no different. We went 10-5 overall (+5.7 units; player props 7-4 and totals 3-1). The conference finals are around the corner and then the NBA Finals tips off in June. To quote Kevin Garnett, “This year, anything is possible!!!!”
A Summer of PGA and NASCAR
It was a light PGA tournament for us with a losing matchup and future (0-2 -1.7 units). NASCAR had its first losing week of the season, going 1-2 (-2.6 units). Again, we expect the volume for both PGA and NASCAR to pick up over the next few weeks as both sports schedule most of the biggest events in the Summer.
Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap
Overall, the week went 14-13 (break-even). A “feathers” week indeed on the heels of netting 32.6 units last week. Memorial Day and the true start to Summer is around the corner. The KrackWins’ board is full and we promise to keep doing the hunting for you.
