It’s a shame that the Draft only comes around once a year
We found weaknesses in many of the Draft Position Props and using our unparalleled information, ended up going 10-2 (+22.4 units). That’s 26-6 over the last three NFL Drafts. You know I am not afraid to call out sports books for a number of issues, but I also give credit to them when its due and I will say that I was very impressed with both Draft Kings and Fan Duel. They opened the market weeks before the Draft and didn’t place ridiculous limits on my bets. Let’s hope this is a sign of things to come as new states continue to legalize.
The MLB Grind
MLB had a winning week, going 6-3 (+2.4 units). The baseball grind is a seven month marathon that can be a real roller coaster. I can remember having a season years ago where I lost 10 straight, only to follow it up the next week with 14 straight wins. To be successful you have to stay the course all year, rather than jump in and out. Remember, we recommend MLB games at 1% of bankroll. One month down, 6 more to go!
NBA Playoffs – As Exciting As Ever
The NBA playoffs is heating up with all the chalk in both Conferences making it to the Second Round. The quality of basketball we should see in this next set of series should be top notch. NBA totals went 2-1 (+1.3 units) last week and Player Props finished 7-5 (+1.4 units) – including a horrible ejection for Draymond Green who was already halfway to making his over total.
In Full Swing!
PGA is in full swing this month – pun intended. Jon Rahm won the Mexico Open as a big favorite. The Wells Fargo Championship has a great field this week and the second major of the year (The PGA) is just 3 weeks away. PGA won its only matchup of the week – 1-0 (+1.5 units).
NASCAR
And finally, it was also another great week of NASCAR for KW Nation, going 3-1 (+2.6 units). The race was delayed Sunday due to weather and finished on Monday. Make sure you always check your sports book rules for events that are suspended/postponed/finished on a later day. Some books will count the wager and some will cancel it.
