Growing up, sports just felt different in the summer. The warmer weather meant more evenings outside, filled with baseball games on the radio. Hearing the crack of the bat immediately brings me back to my front porch in New Jersey, sitting with my father as he huddled around every Yankees game. On the diamond, the Boys of Summer kept plodding along.
Betting MLB – Successfully
Successfully betting baseball is the very definition of a grind. You have to work through the daily boards and not get caught up in the massive weekly volume. Thirty teams playing a 162-game schedule equals 2,430 games a year! With first 5-inning bets, run lines, and over/under bets, there are close to 15,000 bets you can make each baseball season. This makes successfully betting baseball, more than any other sport, all about being selective and ultra-disciplined, no matter what kind of run you may be on (hot or cold). Remember, the high volume allows those with an inside edge to have more statistical power. This past week we were able to grind out a small profit in the MLB, going 6-5 (+.3 units).
NCAA Baseball
You know that diversity is key. Last week we spread our bets across SEVEN different sports. One of my favorite events to bet on each year is the NCAA Baseball Tournament. My team finds some of its best advantages in this tournament and once again this year we started off in the right direction going 6-3 (+6.4 units). The Super Regionals start Friday and we are ready to fire!
The Memorial Tournament & The Upcoming US Open
In golf, Billy Horschel won the Memorial Tournament in impressive fashion. KrackWins went 1-1-1 (-.2 units) in golf on the week with the US Open is around the corner. While baseball was my first sports love, you all know by now that my loyalty starts and ends with my bankroll. To that end, I was neither surprised nor disappointed to see some of golf’s top names (Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Pat Reed, etc.) follow the all mighty dollar to the new LIV Golf Tour.
NASCAR’s Enjoy 300
NASCAR continued to shine at the Enjoy 300, as we swept the board going 3-0 (+4.5 units). Very pleased to have hit 60% on our matchups so far this NASCAR season.
NBA Championship Update
Golden State and Boston continue battle it out for the NBA Championship in a series that looks destined to go seven games. We finished the week 2-2 (+.2 units), including another bad beat caused by a blowout and then zero 4th Quarter minutes for Jason Tatum. The incredibly strong WNBA broke even as well this week, going 3-3 (-.4 units).
Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap
Overall, it was another strong week for the Nation, finishing 21-14-1 (+10.8 units). Money management, discipline, and a team that can find advantages in SEVEN different sports during the summer, make all the difference. You can’t and won’t find that anywhere else.
