On Thursday Oct 23rd, the FBI made some big announcements in the world of sports betting and gambling. Portland Trail Blazers coach and former Detroit Pistons legend Chauncey Billups was arrested on charges connected to an illegal poker ring. Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier was also charged for allegedly providing non-public information about upcoming games to his “criminal partners”, who then placed multiple bets based on the tips. We are now in a new age of sports betting, and these charges will happen more and more. I personally don’t think this is a bad thing, if all sportsbooks were still underground and not regulated it would be almost impossible to catch these sorts of things when they happen. Do not be surprised if more and more of these things come up in the near future. While I always want to find and edge or want my subscribers to have an edge, cheating is simply not tolerated.
What away to start the NBA season, it seems like very interesting timing for the FBI to get involved! At any rate, NBA season is here and we are already off to a great start! Me and my team will be searching the Prop Market every day for +EV edges while also still checking the Totals market daily. I am excited to watch this season unfold, as it most likely is LeBron James last year, and possibly some other Hall of Famers. Can Oklahoma City continue what they started last year and repeat as champs? There are a lot of things that must go right for that to happen! NBA on NBC is back too, which has all the fans ready to watch…
The NFL season is already in Week 8 and KrackWins has started to really gain some traction. We had a good profit the last 2 weeks as we finished 19-10 with our NFL plays, netting a healthy +7.2 unit profit. Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts continue to surprise people at 6-1, while the Kansas City Chiefs start to pick up some momentum and look poised to make yet another Super Bowl. These next few weeks should really separate the contenders from the pack, and we will be firing away on the entire NFL board each and every day!
Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap
NCAA Football has slowed down a little this month, after profiting each of the first 6 weeks. The last two weeks KrackWins was treading water as we went 12-15, dropping 5.1 units. Last week we saw #2 Miami, #5 Ole Miss, #7 Texas Tech all take a loss! This week we have some great matchups including #3 Texas Tech at #10 LSU and #8 Ole Miss vs #13 Oklahoma. These next few weeks will be HUGE to see what teams will make the College Football Playoffs.
It’s WORLD SERIES time in the MLB!!! The Dodgers are looking to be the first team in 25 years to repeat as champion, as they go against the Toronto Blue Jays who went back to back in 1992/93. These lines are very tight but we will still be looking for any edges, including the Prop market. Last two weeks of the playoffs were slow for KrackWins but profitable. We finished 3-2 for a .2 unit profit. Let’s hope for an exciting World Series!
