Feeling those post-pigskin blues? Never fear…..March is here! The Spring sports season has arrived and for my money, it may be the best time of the year for advantage plays.
College basketball teams close out their regular season and make that final push for tickets to the Big Dance, with conference tournaments starting next week. NCAA Basketball had another winning week and has found a late groove, going 8-6 (+1.8 units.) The unusually slow year in NCAAB resets as we enter the postseason, a historical cash cow for our members.
Major League Baseball spring training is blossoming with Opening Day around the corner. Our first dabble into spring training games did not start well, losing both plays (0-2; -2.4 units.)
The PGA season is heating up as all eyes focus on the Masters is next month. Our PGA matchups continued to stay on fire, going 1-0 last week (+1.5 units). Fire alert:: We have started the season going 9-1 on our PGA tournament matchups!

And last but certainly not least, the NBA season is down to its last quarter and with so much parity this year, every night can mean the difference between a high seed, the play-in game or the draft lottery. Last week’s NBA plays went 4-3 (+.4 units) – which was a slow week considering how much we’ve been killing the NBA so far this year – currently at over 63%. We look to continue our success in the NBA through the remainder of the regular season and right into the playoffs.
While we are talking about the NBA, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention LeBron James and his performance against the Clippers this week – showing once again, even at 39, he is still the King. I truly hope everyone takes a moment to enjoy what he is doing at age 39 because it’s nothing we’ve ever seen in the NBA before, nor will be likely to ever see again.
