Time to be SUPER: Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap and Look Ahead 2.5.24

Feb 6, 2025 | NBA, NCAAB, NCAAF, NFL, Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap, Sports Betting Tips

America’s favorite holiday is here!!! This Sunday is It’s The SUPER BOWL as the Chiefs and the Eagles go head to head for the championship in New Orleans!

First let’s recap our last two weeks betting the full grind…..

Overall KrackWins went 26-23 for a +.2 unit profit.

NCAA Basketball has been running well for us, having another profitable few weeks as we went 10-8 for a +1.7 unit profit. We are hitting sides and totals and getting great CLV and it’s been paying off. It’s crazy to think March Madness is only a month away!

NBA has also been very profitable this season and I couldn’t be more happy with the success of our player props. Even though we went 13-13 (-1.5 units) the last two week, we are still hitting these at an amazing 59.8%. Trade deadline has come and gone with some WILD blockbuster trades. All-Star break is coming up and we plan on raising our volume through the rest of the season. PGA season just started too, as we went 0-1 last week (-1.6u)

Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap

The NFL conference championships were good to us as KrackWins went 3-1 for a 1.7 unit profit. It’s been a great NFL season for us and we finished the regular season up 35+ units and have been profitable in the playoffs too. Can’t wait for the big game this weekend!

The Super Bowl is an all you can eat buffet paradise for a gambler, with hundreds of betting options.  It is easy to get overwhelmed with so many plays on the board so make sure you manage your bankroll and have fun with it.  The last thing you want to do is lose all the profit you won on the during the football season.

I occasionally bet the game, but Super Bowl props are really our bread and butter.  From the opening kickoff, to the length of the National Anthem, to the halftime act’s opening song – it doesn’t matter.  If there is an edge to be had, we are taking advantage of it.  I may not be able to tell you the winning teams from every Super Bowl in the past, but I will never forget some of the most wild proposition bets – especially the ones that have nothing to do with the game itself!

The Wildest Prop Bets From The Past

1. The Christina Aguilera Flub
Super Bowl XLV – Steelers vs. Packers.  The first prop on the board was the over/under length on Christina’s  version of the Star Spangled Banner. After some deep YouTube research our crew hit the under we hit the under.  Sure enough, she finished well under and we were ready to cash.  Unfortunately, upon further review, she forgot the part of a line, causing the bet to be void. Ouch.

2. Yellow
Super Bowl 50 – Broncos vs. Panthers.  Coldplay was set to be the halftime show.  One of my sources around the arena said that Coldplay Front man Chris Martin would start the show with their smash hit, “Yellow.”  Well, Martin came out by himself and sang only the first two lines of “Yellow” a cappella before launching into another song with the entire band.   There was a small scale war between bettors and their books, however, after plenty of wrangling, this bet was finally graded a winner.

3. The Coin Flip 1998-2008
People think I am crazy when I tell them I had an advantage on the opening coin toss for over a decade.  It’s a 50/50 chance right? Well not for 11 years it wasn’t. The coin being flipped was a commemorative coin that was weighted heavier on the heads side making the chances of landed tails significantly higher than heads.  Sure enough, in that eleven year stretch, the toss landed tails 9 time!!!  (And one of the years that it landed on heads, they had a 9 year old flip it and it barely left the ground.)  This was a tough secret to keep and when people started to catch on, the gig was up and the NFL changed the coin design.

4. Gatorade Color Splash
Super Bowl XLVI –  the New York Giants upset the New England Patriots yet again and Coach Tom Coughlin became the oldest coach to ever win a Super Bowl.  Of course the winning coach receives his Gatorade bath.  I received some great information that the Giants had two tubs of Clear Colored Gatorade, so if the Giants won, Clear Gatorade at +750 seemed like a great play. Well, after the Giants won, Coughlin was indeed soaked….but due to the angle of the camera shot and the blue Giants jacket Coughlin was wearing, it looked like the Gatorade was blue.  Eventually, still shots of the dump provided that it was indeed clear in color and as such, a nice winner to end the day.

No matter who is playing, there is nothing like the Super Bowl.  The board will be filled with every type of bet imaginable.  I urge you, do not get swept up into the fever and extend past your standard bet 1-2% of your allotted bankroll per play. Don’t worry, at the end the day when the confetti falls, we still continue in the world of sports betting with basketball, golf, baseball, and more.  A number of prop bets have already been sent to our KrackWins members with more on the way this week as we lead up to Sunday.

Let’s close this football season out with a great Super Bowl Sunday.
