For all the complaining you hear all year from the talking heads about how college basketball “isn’t what it used to be,” the Big Dance always seems to be able to quiet that silly noise and remind us why these three weeks are the greatest of the year. The first weekend provided a few of the big upsets that we always crave (Yale, Oakland) as well as its share of dominant teams showing their muscle (UConn, Purdue.)
Unlike last year which lead to a Final Four featuring San Diego State and FAU, the Sweet 16 is full of chalk – with 10 of the top 11 teams still alive. With matchups like Gonzaga-Purdue, Bama-UNC and Duke-Houston on the way, I am expecting some instant classics. KrackWins members have already received a number of Sweet 16 plays with more to come between now and Sunday. Even with a few bad beats (See Oregon +5.5 losing in 2 OT), it was still a profitable first weekend, as we went 19-16 (+2.2 units.)
Elsewhere…the NBA is getting down to the playoff positioning push with only 10 games remaining on the regular season schedule. We are still finding great value in the player prop market and last week was another winner, going 4-2-1 (+1.7 units.) On the course, we lost our only PGA matchup last week (-1.6 units), which dropped our season record to a still stellar 11-4. The PGA volume will begin to pick up at the weather heats up and the Masters is on the horizon. Overall for the week, KrackWins finished 23-19-1 (+2.1 units.)

And just when you thought you’d like some more action, MLB opening day is here! Last baseball season was a profitable one for KrackWins members, as we finished with a 30+ unit profit. Get ready because we will be firing away on both sides and totals on a daily basis. Watch the bankroll % and don’t chase…it’s a long, long season.
Hope you are able to enjoy the games this Easter weekend and that your bracket is still in the running in your pool. I think we are in for a real treat on the hardwood this weekend, once again reminding us that nothing feels quite like March Madness. And…since we will be enjoying, we may as well build our bankroll while we are at it. Good luck!
