One of the questions I get asked often is why did I start KrackWins? I have always been very leery of “touts” and those who provide betting advice to others. My issue is a simple one: how can you advise someone to make a bet when you yourself don’t have as much as a grocery dollar on the game. If you are confident enough to ask someone to pay you for the information, shouldn’t you be confident enough to bet it yourself? Now I know some touts will claim they do, and in truth, they might make a $100 play here and there; but they aren’t long-term winning bettors who have made their living – let alone a great living – betting.
My ultimate goal with KrackWins is to be the go-to alternative to the snake oil salesmen making empty promises by providing valuable information that can actually sharpen bettors. I have heard the criticism from all those who think that “tout” is a four letter word. I understand where they are coming from. Webster’s dictionary defines “tout” as “an attempt to sell something, typically by pestering people in an aggressive or bold manner”. That’s not what I have ever been about and it’s not what KrackWins is or will ever be about.
Well a lot has changed in the 4 years since I started this company. There is a ton more misinformation out there now. With the legalization of sports betting spreading across the country, it has opened up more spots for people to claim the are winning bettors and get jobs giving out selections. There is almost no transparency on social media, as I watch these creators post picks day after day without any kind of long term transparency or record showing. Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap
Last week the NBA finished off its exciting 1st round of the playoffs. Krackwins continued to pound Player Props, going 8-5 (+2.4 units) on this plays. The Eastern and Western Conference Semifinals have already had some surprises and exciting games including a matchup of two of the biggest stars in the last decade LeBron and Steph. We are ready to keep hitting these player props as we’ve had great success this season with these selections.
The NFL draft has usually been a very profitable market for me. Unfortunately this year, I had my first losing draft that I can remember. We did keep it conservative, going 2-4 (-6.7 units). While I am upset with the final results, we still positioned ourselves with great closing value and I look forward to the NBA Draft.
Major League Baseball grind continues into the month of May as more games are played and more data comes in. We are starting to add more volume this month and this full 6 month grind of a season moves forward. Last week we turned a small MLB profit, going 5-4, for +.5 units. We won our only XFL game (+1u) and passed of Golf. This week we have PGA plays pending for the Wells Fargo Championship, as volume also starts to increase with our PGA selections.
Overall last week we finished 16-13 (-2.5u). I am happy to say, that Krackwins is a verified +506 units after my first 4 years of having my app. This is based on a basic 1-3% scale which the majority of our plays are 1-1.5%.
