The NFL season started off with a couple of WILD endings in its first week of games. Sunday night we got a crazy 4th quarter between the Ravens and the Bills, with Buffalo coming back from down 15 to win 41-40. Ravens future Hall of Fame running back Derrick Henry went for 169 yards on 18 carries, but the last carry was a costly fumble as the Ravens were attempting to run the clock out for the win. Monday Night’s Bears Vikings also gave us a crazy 4th quarter. First year starter QB JJ McCarthy looked like a deer in headlights the first 3 quarters of the game, but scored 3 touchdowns in the 4th quarter to lead the Vikings to a 27-24 win. This goes to show that you can NOT give up on any team after bad start.
That being said, Team KrackWins did not have a great first week with its NFL plays. We finished Week 1 going 8-14, and dropping 8.1 units. There were some horrible beats, like the Seahawks and Falcons who both blew late game leads. And there were some wrong sides, like the NY Football Giants. I know my long term loyal guys understand that this is a marathon and not a sprint. My new subscribers maybe frustrated about a losing week, but that is why we use our bankroll scale and we stay disciplined. Winning long term in sports betting is a marathon, not a sprint!
Our first two weeks betting NCAA Football was also a rollercoaster of emotions. Our sides and totals profited for us, while our player props took us back to .500. Overall we went 12-12 in NCAAF and lost 3.1 units in juice. We are back at it this week, with a couple of plays pending in NCAA Football already.
Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap
Most services are only playing football this month but not KrackWins. WNBA and MLB was profitable for us these last two weeks, and we will continue to search these markets for +EV plays as they move closer to the end of their regular seasons. MLB netted +1.2 units (8-6-1) and our WNBA plays went 5-3 for a +1.3 unit profit.
Overall the last two weeks KrackWins was a disappointing 33-35-1, dropping -8.6 units.
It is important to stay transparent through wins and losses. While the first week of football was not profitable for us, we know that we will continue to grind it out each day and get back into the green! We already have a ton of plays pending for this week and will be adding more as the week goes on.
