December means a lot of different things to different people. For homemakers, it could mean planning meals and long car rides with the family. For the corporate employee, it could mean burning the midnight oil to make your hours for the year. For NFL fans, they start the final quarter of the season as the playoff picture starts to take shape. And for me as a professional gambler, it marks the beginning of the 5-month stretch where I make the most money.
College Bowl Season is right around the corner, with the entire bowl line up to be announced after the conference championship games conclude and the CFB Playoff is set. I love bowl season. Bowl games usually feature teams that are strangers to each other, meaning an absence of historical and empirical data for bookmakers to rely on. Bookmakers that may specialize in a conference are faced with the challenge of handicapping a team from a separate conference that may have very few common opponents. Additionally, there are so many other intangibles that go into the bowl games. Where is the game being played, what day is it on, and most importantly, how motivated is the team coming in. For example, many are projecting Minnesota will play Alabama in the Outback Bowl. How would Minnesota, coming off their best season in decades, approach this New Year’s Day game as opposed to Alabama – where a 2-loss season and a non-playoff appearance is considered a failure. Which team wants to be there more is just one of the many aspects of handicapping unique to bowl season. You will see huge line movements from when the games are announced leading up to game time so stay vigil on the app. Bowl season has historically been very profitable for me.
Three weeks of bowl games are mixed into the meat of the NBA pre-all-star break schedule as well as the beginning of NCAAB conference season. The combination of the bowls/NCAA and NBA means lush opportunities for green $$$. I cannot wait for my users to join me and take advantage of this glorious time.
Let’s get into ANOTHER winning week recap…
The NHL went 2-2 (with a +145 underdog winner) (+.5 units). NFL props just keep finding ways to screw us, going went 2-7 (-4.27 units) with a few exquisite bad beats. Free users received our winning NFL teaser (+1.75 units).
College basketball went 10-10-1 (-2.7 units). There’s not much more that can be said about the NBA, as we went 7-1 week (+8.85 units), making us a white hot 24-7 over the last weeks. You will not find that kind of success in the NBA anywhere.
College football went undefeated (3-0), including yet another FCS easy winner (+7.25 units). There is a light slate this week with the championship games and then, onto bowl season. Add that up and you have another winning week – 25-20-1 (+11.38 units).
All told, a good serving of Thanksgiving holiday results, with a bunch of enticing action ahead. As I said, stay on top of our notifications, as the bowl lines will change dramatically. Let’s keep it going.
