It was another profitable week for KrackWins Nation and we look towards a very intriguing Final Four this weekend. Top seeds UConn and Purdue appear destined to meet for the Championship with upstart Alabama and Cinderella NC State seeking to shock the world. NC State needed five wins in five days in the ACC Tournament to even make the Dance (not to mention some missed free throws by Virginia followed by a banked in 3 pointed that nearly hit the shot clock. For those of us old enough to remember, it feels like Jimmy V and 1983 all over again.
That said, as much as we all like an underdog story, no one outside of Raleigh and Tuscaloosa would be disappointed to see UConn’s 7’2” Donovan Clingan go head-to-head with Purdue’s 7’ 4” Zack Edey. And the excitement hasn’t solely been on the men’s side this year. Thanks to Iowa’s Caitlyn Clark, the NCAAW Tourney is breaking viewership records this year. Well, maybe it’s Clark combined with the widespread legalization of sports betting.
The Sweet 16 and Elite 8 were good to us, as we went 8-3-1 (+5.5 units.) Overall, it has been another profitable March Madness – overall 27-19-2 (+7.7 units.) We did lose our only CBI play (0-1, -1.3 units.) With only three more games to be played, we close another NCAAB season in the black – not too shabby of a feet considering the unusually poor November/December start. I am excited for the Final Fourt and mostly just hope that they offer competitive games.
Sports Betting Picks Weekly Recap
The NBA season continues to be one of the most profitable in memory, going 6-4 (+1.2 units) last week. The regular season is coming to a close and there is no reason to believe we can’t duplicate our success in the post season. The summer grind of MLB has already started and out of the box we went 1-1 (-.4 units) and dropped our only NCAA Baseball play (0-1, -1.1 units). MLB volume will be really picking up once the nets are cut on Monday. As you know by now, the PGA year has started off on fire, going 12-4 to date and winning our only matchup last week (1-0, +1.5 units.) The Masters is only a week away so be on the lookout for some Top 10 and Top 5 picks in addition to our tournament matchups.
Overall last week KW Nation went 16-10-2 (+5.4 units.) April is going to be full of action with MLB, NCAA Baseball, PGA, NBA Playoffs and the always profitable NFL Draft props. Enjoy the Final Four and let’s keep grinding.
