With all due respect to Elvis Presley, there is just no denying that the NFL is King, especially for sports betting picks. The nation’s passion continues to grow each year and will only continue to grow as more states jump into the betting pool. After six months of waiting, football junkies finally got their fix last week as the Las Vegas Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars met for the Hall of Fame Game. I’ve said over and over how much I love betting the NFL Preseason and KW Nation saw just why as we started out with a “Rocking Chair” winner on Raiders ML First Half. (1-0 +3 units.) Preseason NFL starts in earnest this week and a number of plays have been sent out already for this weekend’s games.

In the MLB, the playoff races are heating up with the weather. The trade deadline saw a number of playoff hopefuls making moves – none bigger than the San Diego Padres acquisition of Juan Soto and Josh Bell from the Washington Nationals. While the Dodgers, Yankees, Mets, and Astros appear to be the cream of the crop, everyone goes back to 0-0 once the playoffs start and in a short series, anything can happen. MLB had a blah 3-3-1 week (-.4 units) as we look forward to more opportunities heading down the home stretch.
PGA – NASCAR – WNBA
The PGA season is getting closer to crowning a Fed Ex Championship as they move to Memphis and the FedEx St Jude Championship. All the big guns are ready to go this week including Rory McIlroy, John Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Jordan Spieth, and the red hot Tony Finau. NASCAR also moves closer to their season championship, heading to Richmond, Virginia for the Fed Auto Parts 400 on Sunday. Last week we won our only NASCAR matchup and lost our only PGA matchup – 1-1 (-.3 units). WNBA is heading into the playoffs and broke even for the week, going 2-2 (-.4 units). Overall for the week…7-6-1 (+1.9 units).

So, here we are…few more weeks of summer and we are ready to buckle in. College Football is only two weeks away and we have already started sending CFB plays.
