After a thrilling start to the College Football season, the big boys of the NFL kick things off when this year’s Super Bowl Favorites, the Buffalo Bills, take on the Defending Champions, the Los Angeles Rams.
Managing your Bankroll
Football wagering is bigger than ever before, which means more betting opportunities than ever. While this gives the KrackWins team a greater field to mine for advantage plays, we know it can also overwhelm a bettor at times, especially a newer one. Remember, I always bet within a 3% scale – which means I do not have over 3% of my allotted bank roll on any single play. I know tons of guys, even those I would consider to be sharp, who don’t succeed over time due to being overexposed on certain bets. While the start of the season brings a certain of level of excitement, what you do right out of the gate, can impact your year so be patient and stay disciplined. There is plenty of football to go around these next 6 months.
The NCAAF Grind
The first full week of NCAAF is what we call a grind. More of the public betting means more money floating around from book to book, causing even more moves than years ago when Vegas the Off Shore Books ruled the industry. The board moves throughout the day the second these lines open. Our first full NCAA Football week had its ups and downs and finished 9-9, with FCS leading the way at 4-2 to make up for lost juice. A number of plays have already been sent out for next week and with the NFL on tap, the volume continues to rise.
MLB
Our hot streak continued in Major League Baseball as we swept the board again 2-0 (+2 units). That makes nine straight baseball winners! It’s been a long but profitable baseball season yet again. We will continue to grind through September and into the expanded playoffs. Overall we finished 11-10 (+1.2 units).
