It’s an all-new episode of Wise Kracks sports betting podcast with my cohost Jon Orlando. This week we dive into sports betting news and interview pro poker player, Tiffany Michelle. You won’t want to miss it!
Poker Pro Tiffany Michelle
Tiffany Michelle is a poker professional, reality TV show contestant, host, and producer. As we learned today, Tiffany actually got her start in poker partly thanks to Jon.
“I wish this show was x-rated so I could tell some Jon Orlando stories that even he probably doesn’t remember,” said Tiffany.
During the interview Tiffany gives excellent insight into what it’s like being a poker professional. She even let us know at one point of her career, she took a job as the assistant for her friend and fellow poker pro and past Wise Kracks guest, Maria Ho.
“Thank god I wised up, but I got to live my dream of being a secretary,” Said Tiffany.
UFC 272 Picks
Jorge Masvidal will take on Colby Covington in a non-title main event. After years of squabbling over social media, the former training partners turned public enemies will finally face off. It’s a fight that UFC fans and bettors alike are excited about.
Masvidal and Covington were friends at American Top Team, but it turned sour once both fighters were put into potential title contention. Covington is a polarizing figure who sometimes says many things that cross the line. Masvidal is also quite vocal, but seems to be more of the people’s champion in this heated rivalry.
Jon will be in the arena to see this fight go down and thinks Covington is going to get it done. Currently, the betting favorite is Colby Covington, but Jorge is a very lethal opponent and a single punch can change the fight. Colby is known as a pressure-volume fighter, and betting on a side in this fight becomes difficult because it is more likely that Colby will win a decision as opposed to a stoppage.
MLB Postpones Opening Day
Major League Baseball announced that the opening day will now be delayed as a result of the lockout. I and many fans are concerned by this because of the damage due to the previous MLB lockout. An interesting note was how many books are voiding futures bets placed on the Major League Baseball season due to the games played total likely going below 162. We’re used to the start of baseball filling the gap in the sports schedule, but we’re going to have to rely on March Madness to keep us going. Make sure to tune in next week for our college hoops March Madness preview show.
