Being in New Jersey reminded me of growing up there in the 80’s, where one of the biggest electronic store chains was Crazy Eddie’s.  Eddie was a genius marketeer whose commercials featured a pitch man screaming how Eddie’s ‘prices are insane”.  Some of you may chuckle and remember it.  Well, you can guess what happened in the end.  Eddie took his company public in a blockbuster IPO, committed $65 million in fraud by skimming and cooking the books, plead guilty to a felony, and got an 8-year federal prison bid.

This is eerily similar to what many scam touts were doing on TV during the same time period.  Only they made their millions off a gullible public and got to keep it.

Well, here we are 30 years later and the amount of people that are selling or touting games is nothing short of astounding.  Only the new way to do it is through social media.  Oh and did I mention under fake names?  There is hardly a person that sells a game under their own real name.  When I contemplated KrackWins, I was very hesitant, as I had challenged most touts claims in the past.

I decided to do it – but only the way I wanted to: by using my real name, by educating people on the many different facets of advantage sports-betting, and by giving out games that had a mathematical advantage that I actually bet my own money on.  I knew it was going to be revolutionary in many ways.  I knew that customers would love getting the best of the line and, more importantly, actually winning long term with good information.

However, I also knew that it would come with periodic losing streaks.  That is why I took time in the recap last week to crunch numbers and present our track-record the past 6 months.  I offer full transparency and want to make sure the long-view is visible, because that is what is ultimately matters.  You cannot be an honest professional and win-long term without some tough stretches.  I do not shy away from that because I know there is not one company out there that can touch us and what we do for our customers.  If someone is touting winning all the time, then it is like Crazy Eddie: too good to be true.

This past week, we steadied the ship with a push, overall 13-12 (+.6 units).  Golf went 2-o (+3.5 units), NHL 4-1 (+3.85 units), NBA 1-4 (-5.25 units), and CBB 6-6 (-1.5 units).
