The one constant in our lives is time. No one can bargain for more or slow it down. For sports fans, time is often measured by seasons. The college football season concluded with an impressive performance by an all-time dominant LSU team.
The NFL season has just 3 games left. It went by so fast. Maybe I’m just getting old, but I feel like it was yesterday when I was giving out our future bets to our premium users. It pained me to see the Ravens flame out after we had them +2000 before the season to win the AFC. On the bright side, premium users also have the 49ers to win the NFC (+2000), so all is not lost.
Including totals (and not including prop bets), that means there are only 6 football bets left for this season. As I pointed out last week, do not try to make a season’s worth of bets in three games. I almost always travel to Atlantic City for the Super Bowl in order to get better odds as well as more prop bet opportunities. KrackWins historically does very well on a number of player props for the Super Bowl, so you can expect to see them in the plays page after the numbers are released.
The past week was nothing to write home about…but hey, if it was easy everyone would do it.
NFL props went 4-3 last week (+.53 units) and the NFL teaser was just that, losing as the Ravens imploded (-1.9 units). The FCS Championship play lost (-3.3 units). The NBA had its first down week, going 3-5 (-3.7 units). Despite that, I cannot be more pleased with our NBA analysis this season. We are having a great season so far (75-39) and expect it to continue.
NCAAB went 6-9 (-7.8 units). Overall, we are at 83-81 on the year on CBB, which is well off our historical performance. I’m not happy about it and am working on some adjustments to our approach. We will get better. NHL went 2-2 (-.25 units) and PGA went 2-0 (+3.5 units).
Overall, our weekly record finished 17-21 (-12.9 units).
Again, we don’t get too high on our wins or run from our losses. That will never change. We will rebound and get this month in the W column.
