Going out to dinner with friends, watching a live concert, seeing our grandparents, all things that we took for granted before the pandemic.  We have been thrilled to get some of these things back.  This fall, fans in the stands of our favorite sports will be a welcome sight.  Another return that I am very excited about is the return of NFL Preseason football.

Preseason Betting Strategies

While there was no preseason in 2020, long-term KrackWins members know that we historically do very well betting on these “games that don’t matter”.  This year’s slate starts next week as the Steelers and the Cowboys kick off the Hall of Fame Game in Canton.  No game has more people tune in at the start – to feel the joy of seeing football on their TV screens – only to tune out a short time later, once it becomes clear that the teams just started training camp.  It undeniably is bad football.  But we don’t need instant classics to build our bankrolls. 

Preseason games may not count in the standings, but they pay like the regular season.  Estimates show that professional bettors frequently account for 50-70% of the money bet on a preseason game.  The bookmakers are vulnerable – that is why.  Here are a few bedrock principles, as we salivate over a short, lucrative opportunity to feed.

1. Let’s dive into my sports betting picks recap from last week.
