What a great start to the NFL season. The first two weeks have produced some awesome games and sportsbooks around the country are filled to the brim. The Prime Time games have seen points come in bunches – Dallas/Tampa, Baltimore/Las Vegas and even WFT/New York Giants all approached/hit 60 points. The Ravens and Chiefs put on a 71-point show last Sunday. The public loves betting the over, especially in those marquee TV games, so we will have to see how the books adjust moving forward.
The NFL, more than any other sport, has the ability to bring America together. Fans are back in full force after a year off and the stadiums are packed. On the field, we have seen injuries to a number of quarterbacks that could impact their teams season. In Houston, Tyrod Taylor’s bad luck continued as he was injured for the 3rd time early in the year for the 3rd different team after being named the starter coming out of preseason. An early injury while in Cleveland opened the door for Baker Mayfield that was never closed. A punctured lung from the team doctor ended his Charger career as Justin Hebert took over. Texan fans can only hope to be so lucky with their backup turned starter – Davis Mills. (Don’t hold your breath Houston). Elsewhere, the cream appears to be rising to the top as Tom Brady and the Bucs, Lamar and the Ravens, and Mahomes and the Chiefs all look like offensive juggernauts.
Sports Betting Picks Recap
Speaking of freight trains and flaming falcons, it was a good week to be a KrackWins member. The NFL roared to a 9-2 week (+9.4 units) with multiple wins on totals and props. College football had its second straight profitable week, going 7-5 (+5.9 units). The FCS games continue to run very strong. MLB remained on fire, going 4-1-1 (+2.8 units) as we head toward the close of the season. Ironically, the only losing sport was the WNBA, which went 0-1 (-1.7 units) ending a long winning streak over the last few weeks.
Overall for the week, we went 20-9-1 and up 16.4 units for the week. As I said in the last recap, patience and early season adjustments are critical. This week the results showed. That said, do not get over your skis coming off a big winning week. Stay within your bankroll guide and continue to practice sound money management. That is how you keep and build profits. Let’s keep rolling and growing the roll as we revel in full tilt football action and MLB playoffs.
