Super Bowl Betting History and Tips

Super Bowl Betting History and Tips

America’s favorite holiday is finally upon us this Sunday, but why just celebrate one day…It’s SUPER BOWL WEEK as the Chiefs and the 49ers get set to clash in Las Vegas! The Super Bowl is an all you can eat buffet paradise for a gambler, with hundreds of betting options.  It is easy to get overwhelmed with so many plays on the board so make sure you manage your bankroll and have fun with it.  The last thing you want to do is lose all the profit you won on the during the football season. I occasionally bet the game, but Super Bowl props are really our bread and butter.  From the opening kickoff, to the length of the National Anthem, to the halftime act’s opening song – it doesn’t matter.  If there is an edge to be had, we are taking advantage of it.  I may not be able to tell you the winning teams from every Super Bowl in the past, but I will never forget some of the most wild proposition bets – especially the ones that have nothing to do with the game itself! The Wildest Prop Bets...

2023/24 NBA Betting Primer

2023/24 NBA Betting Primer

Just when you thought there couldn’t be any more action on the board, the NBA is back and we are ready to pounce.  No sports league has grown more in popularity over the last fifteen years than the NBA.  Combined with the explosion in legal sports betting and gravitation towards player props, and we have more bets on a NBA season than any other sport. Every new season brings rule changes, stars in new places and a defending champion trying to figure out the secret to repeating.  This year brings a brand new twist that no one really knows how it will be received – the “In Season Tournament.”  Personally, I think multi-millionaires battling it out of some extra cash and a meaningless trophy in the middle of the year is a ridiculously dumb idea.  But, I have been wrong before.  Maybe it will bring added interest and new viewers – which we know means more money to the league – and means it is likely here to stay. On the floor, Damian Lillard joins Giannis in Milwaukee to form the best...

2023 NCAA Football Primer 9.6.23

2023 NCAA Football Primer 9.6.23

There is little question that College Football has come to fully embrace the dark side.  With no penalty transfers, NIL deals and constant realignment, big time collegiate ball is already a professionals game.  Next year we will see Texas and Oklahoma in the SEC, while USC and UCLA enter the Big Ten and I have to say, it will take some getting used to.  While it will ultimately lead to more big game matchups and more action on the board, I hope it doesn’t completely ruin the tradition and pageantry that has always made College Football Saturdays so special. That said, even more than the team spirit and the marching bands, the thing I love most about college football is…the volume.   While the NFL offers 14-16 games a week, College Football provides over 100 games from which to select my bets each weekend. There is no way the bookmakers can be right with their numbers on that many games. Additionally, there is simply not as much information out there to grab about these college kids...

2023 NFL Preseason Primer 8.11.23

2023 NFL Preseason Primer 8.11.23

While they may not count in the standings, winners pay like the regular season.  In fact, professional bettors account for 50-70% of the money bet on a preseason game.   Since the launch of the KrackWins App in 2019, we have gone 40-16-1 on the NFL Preseason, for an absolutely ridiculous 71% win rate.  Information is key in preseason games.  These games are exhibitions, so coaches obviously approach them that way.  They want to avoid injuries to starters and assess their depth chart and cuts.  These changes in personnel combined with mostly vanilla play calling produce wild line movement that you would never see in a regular season game.  Having good information well before the game kicks off is critical.  That info, combined my knowledge of the handicapping markets, translates into a meaningful edge that makes me salivate over these volatile lines. With everyone and their mother is now betting on NFL regular season games, the market is much smaller for the preseason.  As such, I do...
