After 4 months of winning, KrackWins hit its first rough spot of the year last week.   Nothing is more important in this business to me than truth and transparency.  We don’t hide from a losing week.  You won’t find a successful professional bettor that hasn’t gone through many rough patches – whether it is a week, a few weeks, or even several weeks.  It’s part of the trade.

For anyone who has signed up in the past two weeks, I want to emphasize that variance happens and is a natural part of betting.  It’s rare, but we do occasionally have losing patches.  In the last two and a half years we have had only two losing months September 2020 (-12 units) and February 2020 (-12.8 units).  As our long-time members know, we set you up to win over the long term.  Those two losing months are nothing compared to the 100s of units in winnings we have generated during that 30-month period.  Stick to our strict percentage scale, follow our money management guide, don’t chase your losses, and be patient.  Let’s dive into my sports betting picks recap from last week.

There are some unusual aspects of the season that handicappers are seeing for the first time.  Teams are without key players; smaller conferences are playing back-to-back games against the same opponent; and teams’ respective seasons can look totally different.  Last week you could find teams that had played 20 games, playing teams that had played 10.  Louisville had activity suspended for a month due to Covid and entered its first game back against UNC as a 4-point underdog.   UNC won by 50.  These unique circumstances certainly account for some variance.  Last week PGA went 1-1 (-.1 unit), NHL went 0-1 (-1 unit), NBA went 1-5 (-4.6 units), and NCABB went  4-7-1 (-7.6 units).  Overall, we wound up at 6-14-1 (-13.3 units).

College basketball was 105-58-6 for the year heading into February and now stands at 115-73-7.  That is a very solid 61% win rate.  We all know the books are harder to beat as the regular season enters the closing stretch, so you have to be extra disciplined.  That said, we traditionally do very well come March as tournament play starts.
