There is no doubt about it, the NFL is King when it comes to sports betting. It has become a 24/7/365 monster that fills up the sports-talk world, even after the confetti falls on the Super Bowl Champion. From Free Agency to the Draft to Training Camp, the NFL machine really has no offseason. In fact, it is so omnipresent that it is easy to overlook the fact that there is another football product that can be just as exciting and even more profitable for bettors than the NFL – College Football. And while it may have snuck up on you, it is now here in full force, stronger and earlier than ever before. This Saturday, a dozen games will be on the board including a Nebraska v. College Football Volume
Without a doubt, the thing I love most about College Football is the volume. While the NFL offers 14-16 games a week, college football provides over 100 games from which to select our bets each weekend. There is no way the bookmakers can be spot on with their numbers on that many games. There are advantages to be found across the board, especially in the first half of the season – which is why College Football has traditionally been very profitable for me over the years. Another Winning Week for NFL Preseason
As for the week that was…..We saw another winning week in the NFL Preseason (2-1-1, +2.7 units) and getting the closing line value certainly came into play. It is worth pointing out that we would have had an undefeated week if the Jets didn’t outscore the Falcons 14-0 in the 4th after the Falcons’ coach chose to play a Tight End at QB for the last five drives of the game. There is only one more week to take advantage of the NFL Preseason before they play for real on September 8th. We are loaded for bear for the NFL regular season and will be firing away on more Player Props than ever before as that market has expanded.
Saying “Goodbye” to the PGA this Week
The official PGA season ends this week as the Fed Ex Cup will be decided amongst the Top 30 golfers at the Tour Championship in Atlanta. KrackWins members have already been sent a number of matchups and it should be a really exciting weekend for golf fans with tons of money on the line and no cut. Last week was a roller coaster ride (1-1-1) as Will Zalatoris withdrew with back issues after the second round, giving us our one loss before weekend play began.
WNBA – NBA – MLB
The WNBA playoffs were narrowed down to the final four teams (KW went 1-1 -.2u) with the top seeded Las Vegas Aces and Chicago Sky seemingly poised to meet in the Finals. The Semi-Finals and Finals are both best-of-5 series so we will look to add a few more units onto what has been another profitable NBA season. There are only 40 games left of 162 as MLB teams jockey for playoff position in the new format in which 6 teams from each league make the playoffs, with the top 2 receiving byes. Last week KrackWins picked its spots well and went 2-0, +2 units.

Overall for the week, KW Nation went 6-3-2 for a +4.2 unit profit. As long standing KrackWins members know, the volume of plays begins to spike when we flip the calendar to September. I know everyone is chomping at the bit to start firing away so remember…stay within the percentage scale and never chase losses. There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the season to build our roll on a plethora of advantage plays.
