March has finally arrived and if you are a college basketball fan, this is the most wonderful time of the year. The conference tournaments are in full swing this week, culminating with Selection Sunday. The volume of betting during March Madness supersedes any other sports betting event. There will be plenty of opportunities for lots of good positive expectancy wagers, so don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
Betting March Madness
Historically, I have done extremely well in the first couple rounds of the tournament. Last season Baylor crushed Gonzaga in the championship, but both teams are back in the Top 5 this season. Will we see a rematch of last year’s championship? Or will one of the well positioned powerhouse teams like Kansas, Duke, or Kentucky cut the nets down? Beware betting these marquee names early as they are public favorites to bet, so there is already some value on the dogs they are facing. Also, the first half is more of a pure number because there aren’t garbage fouls being committed as there are at end of the game by the team trying to extend their season. I cannot tell you how many times I have lost college games that I was winning all game, due to fouls in the last 30 seconds by a team whose season is ending.
Bet With Your Head, Not Your Emotions
Lines get tougher as the tournament goes on, and as KrackWins Nation knows, I only bet advantage plays. Just remember, bet with your head not over it, and do not get caught in all the hype and the craziness of March Madness. There are now four channels showing all the games, all day and night. Games start at 9:00 am Pacific and go until 9:00 pm. As always, don’t bet a game just because it is in front of you on TV or next on the card. I promise you, your bankroll will be empty by the Sweet 16.
After six straight winning months, February 2022 saw that monthly winning streak come to an end. I have always believed that the most important things in this business are truth and transparency. Any true professional knows that you will have hot streaks and cold streaks throughout a year. It’s simply part of the trade. My mentor used to tell me, it truly is a rollercoaster ride…Chicken or Feathers! I want to urge all KrackWins members to try and take the emotion out of it, stay the course, continue to be on the right side of the line and always stick to your money management guide.
