What a difference a year makes! Last May, sports bettors were wagering on Korean Baseball, Table Tennis, and UFC. Fast forward to the past two weeks and we have bet the NFL Draft, FCS football, Major League Baseball, NBA, and the PGA.
As the country loosens pandemic restrictions in fits and starts, legal sports betting expands without interruption. New York finally approved mobile betting! In Florida, the Seminole tribe agreed to a new gambling compact that will allow sports betting at any sports arena, gaming facility or casino. The days of a dark cloud hovering over the sports betting community are over as major networks and corporations race to cut deals for more sports betting content and assets.
The NFL Draft and FCS Football Playoffs
One of my favorite events to bet is the NFL Draft. With more legal books opening up in different jurisdictions, NFL Draft betting has become a major advantage for me and KrackWins subscribers. While the first two picks of the draft were basically locked in, the rest of the draft was up in the air, giving us plenty of opportunities to find an edge with the information network that I have built over my 30-year career in sports betting. I have to give credit to the Circas, Draft Kings, and Fan Duels of the world. They gave us plenty of different betting options for this draft and we took advantage. Our full card went 7-3 for the 2021 NFL Draft, netting us 9.3 units!
We had some more football to bet on the last two weeks with the FCS Football Playoffs. Although our record was not profitable 2-4 (-6 units), we had an eye-popping average of 2.5 pts of closing line value. Professionals know, even if you do not win in a particular week, getting strong closing line value is what produces winning and profits over the long term. As I serially preach, the KrackWins value and my insider edge is getting closing line value 95%+ of the time. It is the key to consistent, cross-sport winning. That is how I have made my living betting sports for 30 years. And if you stick with us, that is how you will inevitably build your bankroll over time. Let’s dive into my sports betting picks recap for the last two weeks.
Sports Betting Picks Recap and Look-Ahead
The NBA is only two weeks away from the new playoff format. It has been a rollercoaster, which is not surprising in the still pandemic-influenced game. We remain +14 units for the season and went 8-9 the last two weeks (-2.6 units). MLB stayed hot as we went 11-4, cashing in 6.5 units. PGA only had one play, since some of the action was in partner format. We won our only play (+1.75 units) as Sam Burns notched his first win on the PGA Tour. Overall, we went 29-20 for a net of 8.6 units.
With summer coming into sight, I am excited to keep chopping up the books in the MLB/NBA/PGA markets, plus adding some WNBA in the mix. Have a great weekend and enjoy your Mother’s Day celebrations.
