You would not believe the number of bettors that would rather risk losing a bet made on their own opinion than win a bet, relying on someone else’s information. In fact, I have people close to me who have spent decades losing, seen my consistent success for year and years, and will still bet their opinion over mine.

This past week’s Monday Night Football matchups between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals was one of the most anticipated games of the year. Two Super Bowl contenders battling in Prime Time for a possible #1 seed in the AFC. Of course we all know by now that none of that mattered when Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field in the first quarter. No matter how much fans are invested in their teams, sport are just a game played by regular (very athletic) human beings.

I don’t make a decision based on the absence of other options. It may or may not come back to bite you, but it’s never an advantage play. So many people make silly, unnecessary bets over the holidays because of limited action. Not surprisingly, they dent the bankroll that they worked all year to build. If you’ve noticed, as the available games reduce, so do the Krackwins plays. We NEVER give out a play just so that our users have action. 

Christmas is right around the corner for most, but for me and KrackWins Nation, College basketball and the full board it brings every night is the best gift we can ask Santa for. Last week our NCAA Basketball went 13-4 for a 16.8 unit profit!  While the board will be a little lighter this week as colleges head into exams and winter break, I couldn’t be more happy with the start to the college hoops season and am ready to roll into 2023 with the start of Conference play.

One of the most popular terms that has entered every sports fan’s vernacular since gambling took off is “Bad Beat.” If you follow me and my mantras, you could guess that I have never really been a fan of the term or what it connotes. I learned long ago that in order to become a successful sports bettor over the long term, you can’t focus on one game, one loss, one play that screwed you, etc. Doing that adds a level of emotion to sports betting that I always try to avoid.
