NCAAB March Madness 2022 Primer

NCAAB March Madness 2022 Primer

The volume of wagering during March Madness supersedes any other sports betting event.  There are a lot of narratives this year, but just because a team has a good story doesn’t mean they are a good bet.  Yes, its Coach K’s last year, but does that mean Duke is destined to make a deep run?  Or will they fold under that added pressure? Gonzaga was ranked #1 to start and to end the season – will they be able to complete the unfinished business of two recent Championship Game losses?  With no truly dominant team out there, there are literally a dozen teams that I could see cutting down the nets. Betting The Underdogs There will be plenty of opportunities for positive expectancy wagers, so don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Historically, I have done extremely well in the first two rounds of the dance.  I particularly like placing first half wagers on underdogs, for three reasons: 1)   The first half is more of a pure number, because there aren’t garbage end of game fouls being...

NCAAF College Football Bowl Sports Betting Tips 2021

NCAAF College Football Bowl Sports Betting Tips 2021

Happy Holidays KrackWins Nation!  We made our way through the grind of a long college football regular season and that can only mean one thing…Bowl Season is here! With the college football playoff system likely expanding to 8 teams next year, and possibly 16 in the years that follow, this year could be one of our last opportunities to bet a full slate of obscure bowl games.  Bowls like the Weed-Wacker Bowl, the Beef O’ Brady Bowl, and the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl could eventually become the stuff of memories.  These games may mean little to those outside of the two fan bases and the Bowl sponsors – but in the world of sports betting, they are towering in importance. Nothing gives us the most famous bad beats, last second covers, and meltdowns like those December bowl games that have nothing to do with the Championship. Everyone remembers the 2012 Belk Bowl where +10.5 underdog Duke had the ball 1st and Goal in a tie 34-34 game with 1 minute left and somehow lost by 14.  Or how about...

NCAAB Primer: Sports Betting Tips for the 2021/22 Season

NCAAB Primer: Sports Betting Tips for the 2021/22 Season

Without a doubt, last year was unlike any other in the world of College Basketball.  Not just for the players, coaches and fans, but for the handicappers as well.  There were just so many unknown variables due to the ramifications of Covid-19.  Teams started the season at different times, most pre-conference games were cancelled, arenas were empty, and player after player was scratched from the lineup – often just prior to tipoff.  I am so excited for things to get back to normal this year.  There is nothing like a fired up home crowd full of wild students at a college basketball game. Betting Tips for College Basketball For the past decade, no sport has treated me and my bankroll better than college basketball.   Each and every year, the NCAAB season provides some of the best action on the market.  If you have been following me over the past few years on KrackWins, you know I preach over and over about the mantra of money management and finding value and success over the long run. ...

NBA Primer: Sports Betting Tips for 2021/2022 Season

NBA Primer: Sports Betting Tips for 2021/2022 Season

Over the last decade, no major sports league has grown in popularity more than the NBA.  As more and more of the public bet the NBA each night, along with them appear the new, self-described “NBA betting experts” offering their advice on plays.  Be wary.  There are plenty of services out there that tout their football prowess and after costing you money all season, all to their pitch, “by the way we also do the NBA.”  Not KrackWins.  I have been betting the NBA successfully for two decades and NBA Basketball is a staple of building my profit each year.  And I could not be more excited that the 2021-22 season is here. The NBA was one of the first sports I bet professionally when I moved to Las Vegas nearly twenty years ago.  At that time, the number of NBA bettors you would find in the local sports books was small.  While the volume of NBA bets have increased significantly over the years, I still find plenty of advantages over the long season.  Over the last 3 years, we have gone...
